周长发教授
周长发，男，1971年6月出生，江苏省南京市人，博士。南京师范大学生命科学学院教授，博士生导师。
人物履历
1990年9月至1994年6月，南京师范大学生物系读本科，专业：生物学；
1994年9月至1997年6月，南京师范大学生物系读硕士，研究方向：动物学；
1997年7月至1999年8月，南京师范大学出版社编辑；
1999年9月至2002年7月，南开大学生物学系读博士，研究方向：动物系统学；
2002年9月至2004年6月，南京师范大学生命科学学院博士后；
2004年8月至12月，分别在美国Purdue University 和Florida A&M University访问研究，并参加国际蜉蝣目大会；
2005年1月至2008年12月，南京师范大学生命科学学院副教授，硕士研究生导师；
2009年1月至今 南京师范大学生命科学学院教授，博士研究生导师 （其中2010年1月至2010年12月在美国Florida A&M University做访问学者）。
所获荣誉
2004年度“周尧昆虫分类学奖励基金”二等奖；
2006度南京师范大学“优秀博士后”；
2008年度江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人培养对象。
研究方向
主要从事中国蜉蝣目系统学研究，目前主要运用分子和形态证据以及相关实验方法对我国蜉蝣目种类、形态、区系、生物学、生物地理以及系统发育进行研究，研究重点是蜉蝣目在昆虫纲中的地位及起源（即蜉蝣、蜻蜓及其它有翅昆虫的相互关系）、中国蜉蝣目区系以及蜉蝣生态作用及与水质的关系等。
在昆虫学、动物学、生态学、进化理论、生物系统学原理和方面有深入系统的知识和背景。已在国内外发表相关学术论文50余篇，出版专著和教材6部，主持完成国家自然科学基金项目4项，参加2项国家自然科学基金重点项目。
