周开亚教授

周开亚，男，1932年10月出生，浙江奉化人。南京师范大学教授、博士生导师。现兼任农业部濒危水生野生动植物种科学委员会委员、IUCN/SSC鲸类专家组成员，IUCN/SSC保护繁殖专家组成员、世界两栖爬行动物学大会执行委员会委员、香港海洋公园保护基金科学顾问委员会委员、香港海豚保育学会顾问、中国动物学会常务理事、《生物多样性》、《中国天然药物》编委。Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, Biological Conservation等刊物的审稿人。

人物履历

101536_15 1953年7月毕业于江苏师范学院（原东吴大学）生物系；

1953年9月至1955年7月任江苏师范学院生物系助教；

1955年8月到南京师范学院生物系工作至今。

1960年7月被评为讲师；

1978年5月晋升副教授；

1983年6月晋升为教授；

1986年批准为博士生导师；

先后在中国科学院动物研究所、日本东京大学海洋研究所、荷兰台尔夫特大学、美国史密森研究院等地访问研究；

1979年创建了南京师范学院生物系鲸类研究室，现发展为遗传资源研究所；

1985年创办了《中学生物学》杂志。主持的动物学科1985年被评为江苏省教委重点学科，1993年被评为江苏省级重点学科。

1983年10月至1990年2月任南京师范大学生物系主任。

目前从事动物多样性和分子进化研究。

1986年以来主持了国家自然科学基金项目、国家自然科学基金重大项目子课题、国家自然科学基金重点项目子课题、国家“八五”攻关项目子专题、国家环保局项目、农业部渔政局项目、日本丰田基金会项目、世界自然基金会(WWF)项目及香港海洋公园鲸豚保护基金项目等24项。

主持完成了《中国动物志·鲸目等》、《中国的海兽》和《中国动物志·蜥蜴亚目》中壁虎科的编研，出版了《中国动物志·鲸目食肉目海牛目》、《中国的海兽》等专著、论文集16本，获国家发明专利4项，已发表论文340篇(其中国外71篇)。获国家科技进步奖三等奖、国家自然科学奖四等奖、国家教委科技进步奖一等奖、国家中医药管理局中医药科技进步奖一等奖、江苏省科技大会奖、江苏省科技进步奖特等奖、三等奖和四等奖等奖励。

学术成就

1958年首次报道在长江下游发现白鱀豚，1977年查明其分布范围，纠正了国际流传数十年的白鱀豚分布在洞庭湖及相邻长江段的认识。被海洋哺乳动物学会主席Perrin在第7届海兽生物学双年会的致词中赞为"白鱀豚的重新发现者"；美国Miller曾将白鱀豚归于Iniidae。但我们发现它是另一类古老齿鲸的现生代表，通过其骨骼和胃的研究，建立了白鱀豚科Lipotidae。这是20世纪在现生鲸类中唯一的新建科级阶元。白鱀豚科的建立获得了20世纪末和本世纪初各国学者的分子系统学研究的有力支持。我们也于2005年根据线粒体全基因组的研究在Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution报道了支持白鱀豚科的新证据。根据形态学性状首先指出中国海域的瓶鼻海豚包括2个种，江豚包括3个亚种。在亚洲首次发现淡水豚化石Prolipotes yujiangensis Zhou et al（新属新种），是我国唯一已知的中新世鲸类化石，证明白鱀豚类在约2000万年前曾生活在中国南方的江河中。

1979年开始进行白鱀豚的分布、集群、潜水、迁移等生态和生物学的研究。在1982年第三届国际兽类学大会提出”白鱀豚的现存数少于400头，濒临灭绝”的观点，分析了导致白鱀豚死亡的原因，并首次提出迁地养护的保护设想。据此而建立的铜陵白鱀豚养护场现已成为长江下游豚类保护的主要基地。20世纪90年代用照相识别技术研究白鱀豚的迁移和种群数量，成功地识别了白鱀豚个体，首次获得它长距离迁移达200 km的证据，并基于照相识别数据估算种群数量已下降到100头左右。21世纪初，在香港海洋公园保护基金的支持下，初步建立了中国沿岸的海兽类搁浅网络。2005年在雷州湾发现了1个中华白海豚种群并进行了种群数量的初步考察。根据我们的调查结果，湛江市已经于2006年在雷州湾建立了中华白海豚自然保护区。

报道了白鱀豚的皮肤、骨骼、肌肉、消化、排泄、神经及感官等器官系统的结构，保留了此极危物种的极珍贵的科学资料，并对其他海豚进行了功能形态学研究：1）发现白鱀豚胃的结构在鲸类中独一无二；2）对3种齿鲸蜗神经纤维数量和大小的研究，报道了脊椎动物中已知直径最大的神经纤维；3）通过视神经纤维数量和大小的研究，首次指出脊椎动物的脑神经中仅海兽有大于15μm的纤维，白鱀豚视神经纤维数仅相当于海豚科的1/7；4）鉴定了15头白鱀豚的年龄，得到了两性的生长曲线，用协方差分析和判别分析研究了白鱀豚的性二型；5）首次报道了白鱀豚等的脊髓灰质细胞分层模式，在白鱀豚脊髓的腔隙中发现了触液神经元；6）首次报道鲸类鼻道肌的构筑；7）首次把肾结构指数测定应用到鲸类肾脏研究。

在两栖爬行动物研究中，鉴定中国海域的丽龟，证实我国有5种海龟。描记了壁虎属新种和云南半叶趾虎新亚种，指出我国和日本的多疣壁⑹导拾?2个不同的种——铅山壁虎和多疣壁虎。近年测定了壁虎类30个属长378 bp的核c-mos 基因片段的序列，根据系统发生分析的结果，提出了壁虎类高级阶元新分类系统的建议，把Kluge (1987)的鳞脚虎科改订为三个科，即鳞脚虎科（限四肢退化的种类）、絮趾虎科和刺尾虎科。测定了大壁虎（Gekkogecko）线粒体基因组全序列，全长16435 bp。这是壁虎类蜥蜴中首例测定的线粒体基因组全序列。再从GenBank下载20种爬行动物的线粒体基因组全序列，共21个序列用于系统发生关系分析。得到了蜥蜴亚目和其中的五大类群(壁虎类，蚓蜥类，石龙子类，鬣蜥类和蛇蜥类)都为单系；蛇亚目和蜥蜴亚目为姐妹群等结果。提出了蚓蜥类是壁虎类的姐妹群、蜥蜴亚目为单系、硬舌类为并系等新的蜥蜴亚目系统发生。

发表论文327篇，其中发表在Journal of Molecular Evolution, Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society, Marine Mammal Science等国际刊物的56篇，出版了《中国动物志哺乳纲第九卷·鲸目、食肉目、海牛目》、《中国的海兽》、《江苏省志·生物志·动物篇》等专著、论文集14本，获国家发明专利3项。创建了南京师范大学遗传资源研究所。培养了博士26名和硕士22名。
