袁启荣教授
袁启荣，男，1968年9月1日生。理学博士，南京师范大学物理科学与技术学院教授、博士生导师。曾经访问过美国怀俄明大学、英国剑桥大学天文研究所、印度IUCAA、韩国全业国立大学等研究机构。曾经是国家重点基础研究发展规划（973）项目的骨干成员，主持并完成了国家自然科学基金项目、教育部留学回国人员基金项目、江苏省教育厅自然科学基金项目以及江苏省教育厅教学改革项目各一项，参加过两项国家自然科学基金项目。主持一项国家自然科学基金项目，并且参与一项国家自然科学基金重点项目。
人物履历
1993年毕业于北京师范大学天文系，获理学硕士学位，随后在中国科学院紫金山天文台从事科研工作；
1994年考入北京师范大学天文系天体物理专业攻读博士学位；
1997年获得理学博士后，分配在南京师范大学物理系从事天体物理和理论物理的教学和科研工作，先后被聘为讲师、副教授、教授、博士生导师；
2001年赴美国国立光学天文台（NOAO）留学访问一年。
所获荣誉
1998年获得“南京师范大学优秀中青年骨干教师“称号；
1999年荣获“校青年教师工作学习双优奖”二等奖；
1999年《本超星系团中的星系指向研究》（第一作者）获得南京市政府颁发“南京市第三届自然科学优秀论文奖”一等奖；
2000年，与紫金山天文台合作的关于“星系形态结构和活动性研究”荣获“蔡冠深行星 科学奖”三等奖（排名第二）；
2002年与何香涛教授合作的“多波段类星体巡天观测”荣获北京师范大学优秀科学研究成果奖；
2002年入选为江苏省青蓝工程“省级高等院校优秀中青年骨干教师”；
2006年入选为江苏省“青蓝工程”青年学术带头人。
主要研究方向
从事天体物理和理论物理的教学和科研工作。研究方向天体物理，研究领域是星系团、星系物理、活动星系核。
