吉根林教授
吉根林，男，1964年12月生，汉族，江苏海安人，中共党员，工学博士，教授，博士生导师。现任南京师范大学计算机科学与技术学院院长，南京师范大学学术委员会委员，《南京师大学报》编委,江苏省信息安全保密技术工程中心主任。
人物履历
1986年7月本科毕业于南京航空航天大学计算机专业，获工学学士学位；
1989年3月硕士毕业于南京航空航天大学计算机应用技术专业，获工学硕士学位；
2004年获东南大学计算机应用技术专业工学博士学位；
2002年1月至2009年4月任南京师范大学数学与计算机科学学院副院长；
2009年4月起任南京师范大学计算机科学与技术学院院长、江苏省信息安全保密技术工程中心主任。
所获荣誉
1996年被评为南京师范大学优秀中青年骨干教师；
1997年、1999年两次获南京师范大学青年教师双优奖；
2001年获南京师范大学教书育人奖；
2001年南京师范大学优秀共产党员；
2002年获南京师范大学教学成果二等奖；
2007年获南京师范大学教学名师；
2008年获江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人；

社会兼职
中国计算机学会人工智能与模式识别专委会委员、系统软件专委会委员、计算机教育专委会委员；全国高等师范院校计算机教育研究会副理事长；江苏省计算机学会常务理事、江苏省大数据专家委员会副主任、计算机普及工作委员会主任。
研究方向
主要研究方向是数据库与数据挖掘技术。主持3项国家自然科学基金项目、1项江苏省自然科学基金项目和多项江苏省高校自然科学基金项目，在国内外核心期刊和国际会议发表论文90多篇，其中SCI/EI收录30多篇。
