袁生教授
袁生，男,1956年生,江苏南京人。博士，教授，博士生导师，曾任南京师范大学生命科学学院院长。教育部生物科学专业教学指导分委员会委员，中国微生物学会理事，江苏省微生物学会秘书长，江苏省微生物学精品课程主持人。
人物履历
1980年南京师范学院生物系毕业；
1987年南京师范大学生物系硕士研究生毕业；
1997年北京师范大学生物系博士研究生毕业；
2001年美国宾州州立大学生物系博士后出站。
曾获荣誉
2010年被评为江苏省有突出贡献的中青年专家；
2006年获江苏省“六大人才高峰”资助对象；
2008年获得江苏省科技进步三等奖；
2009年获得江苏省优秀教学成果二等奖；
2015年南京师范大学“奕熙精英教师奖”获得者。
研究领域
主要研究方向为微生物生长代谢调控研究。在微生物生长代谢调控的分子生物学研究领 域：主要从事酵母细胞增殖、菌丝顶端生长、细胞壁伸长生长的功能基因组学研究。在微生物代谢调控与药物合成研究领域：主要研究和利用微生物特殊和多样化代谢途径，开展微生物转化合成药物、农药及其中间体的研究。
学术成就
1990年以来，先后主持国家自然科学基金5项，国家科技部“十五”科技攻关项目子课题2项，以及其它省部级项目和企业委托项目10多项。在国内外发表论文80余篇，获得国家发明专利10项，参与撰写专著、教材3部，先后获得省科技进步成果奖、省优秀教学成果奖等奖励。
